I have lived at the Moderne for a year now in a studio and have recently recruited a buddy to live with me in a two bed, this complex is that good. Courtney Hay in the leasing office is incredible and makes the transition moving in or changing apartments seamless and easy. I highly recommend living here. Not only is a prime location, but the staff and complex’s amenities are 10/10. Go find Courtney and make all your dreams come true.

I enjoy living here because although it's in the busier area of Scottsdale, it is nestled into a corner that keeps it low key and out the way. I think it is a perfect apartment for students and those who have Sagittarius placements (lol) meaning there are an ample amount of places to discover and enjoy such as; Ocean 44, Postinos, Wonderspaces, The Barrio Queen and of course, Fashion Square. Really there are so many places nearby, it's lively and vibrant. As far as living in the apartment, I have no complaints expect I wish there was a little playground for the kiddos but that's no biggie (there are 3 parks within 5 miles of the apartment). Some neighbors are loud, some are more quiet, I feel like everyone is respectable at least on my side of the complex. We like to head to the pool, literally spent most of the summer there, again everyone respected everyone's space and use of the pool, hot tub, and grills. There are some shaded spaces and tables that make it a really cute set up for a girl's night, date night or just a fun day at the pool. I LOVE THE GYM!! One thing I will say is the community is pretty active. It's quite motivating to see people walking and using the gym frequently. They just updated some of the treadmills, the on them are really helpful while working out. Some of the equipment is partnered thru TechnoGym so you're able to customize a little workout plan, if that's your thing ( I use the app for accountability) :) There is a small cycle room , weights, bikes and other little gym items for use. The leasing people are pretty nice, I haven't really had to deal with them since moving in because I pay rent online and any maintenance requests are done online as well. Lee has been an excellent addition to the maintenance team, I have had two things that needed repair and he was efficient and knowledgeable when I asked him questions ( I like to do things myself). So shout-out to the leasing and maintenance team here. There are two things I really don't like... I am not a BIG pet lover so seeing poop everywhere is a little nasty, I don't blame the grounds keeper I just wish people were a little bit more mindful of the smells and how gross it looks. Another thing is the gates, which I do see that they try to get fixed but it is very silly one day they're working and then the next day I'm playing red light green light with the gates! Other than that, you can see and decide for yourself. If you're looking for the most luxurious apartment, move along but if you are looking for something cute, comfortable and has a good walking distance to everything, then this might be a nice apt for you! Good luck on your search!!

I’ve called the leasing office several times during business hours over the last few months and they never answer. The reason I was calling was to inquire about a rental again. No clue who’s running this property now they were turning over property management companies even back then.

I have lived at the Modern since July 2022. I’ve enjoyed every part of my experience there They take pride in the building , the ammentities are always kept up , they communicate with residents . The leasing staff are super friendly and always available to help. The management team Abel and Gabriel have done a great job training the team . The maintenance staff { especially Dave ) has gone over and above to fix any items that need repaired. I will be staying with The Moderne at least another year until I am ready to buy a home.

I've been living here 4 years, and I love it..the staff in the office is very courteous, and efficient. (Gabriel and Abel are the best) It's quiet in the units, no noise from unit below or next door. The underground parking is wonderful, with plenty of outside parking for guests. The pool is beautiful. The gym is well equipped. I'm not moving!

Dave advised us when he would arrive and he was right on time. He was respectful, communicative and efficient. He met all our expectations. His performance is very typical of what we have experienced from the entire maintenance staff. They are a credit to the Moderne.

I moved into the moderne apartments almost a little over a year ago.. at the time of moving in we had different management. That being said, wow what a positive change. With the new management, every situation has been handled in a reasonable time frame. I almost immediately get call backs, or responses to my emails. Everything that wasn’t being fixed on the property took the new management about three months to handle. The gate was our main concern.. a year of NO gate box and the gate constantly broken… we now have a gate code and working gate! dog park is maintained better than before now. Amenities are clean and changing. Abel was the first manager I met in the first few months handling everything himself.. soon enough he brought on an awesome team. Shoutout to Gabriel and tommy! thanks guys

I moved in recently, about 4 months ago. I must say I was surprised at how professional and polite the staff were. I see that new management has recently took over and I can see the commitment she has to improve the property even further. I will say a lot of owners dont pick up the dog feces but at least there properly beautification that does there best to take care of that. Overall I’ve had no issues with management or my apartment. Definitely recommend.

Cori did an excellent job of helping us find the right apartment and assisting in the move in process. She has been a delight to work with and is usually my go-to for any questions/concerns. Cori and Rachel have also gone above and beyond to help me track down packages that were lost in the luxer lockers. That said, here are my two gripes: 1. The daily leaf blowing. I understand the need to clear out dust and leaves, but a daily cadence seems excessive and unnecessary. Why not once or twice a week? I promise a few leaves on the walkway is a non-issue. 2. The luxer locker is almost ALWAYS backed up, which makes the package finding process a nightmare. It'd be nice if management could address this matter by asking the community to be more conscientious about using the luxer lockers as a storage space.

Carmelo listened to my preferences and found just the right apartment and location for me. He was amazing during the entire process and still is today. Lived here for 2 years and loved it. Property and facilities are great and well maintained. Front office is very friendly and always helpful. Location couldn't be better - just a short walk from Fashion Square Mall, Harkins Movie Theater (best seats in town), Old Town, etc. We lived in an exterior 2 bed/2 bath unit which was great, and prior to our 1 year renewal we had looked at a few other comparable apartment complexes and found the rates here are very competitive. Only moved out because we bought a place in same area but would absolutely return in the future. When we did leave, the GM (shoutout Edwin!) and his team couldn't have been more supportive and were very flexible/reasonable throughout the process. No surprises, no hidden fees - this place is truly as great as it looks.

A little more expensive than most, but you get what you pay for. Well appointed, professional, responsive, clean. It's an awesome walking location to Old Town with a great youthful, but respectful, vibe. Our unit was virtually brand new. We had a few minor maintenance issues when we moved in and the team was there in minutes to fix and make it perfect. Great pool area with grills, firepits and new putting green! Almost regret buying a house and having to move out in a couple months. Highly recommended. Tip: do a unit with a garage or a 4th floor unit as we got a 3rd floor unit and sometimes hear neighbors above with heavy footsteps. Not a huge deal, but noticeable sometimes. FWIW, haven't had the experience Douglas mentions below as all the people we have met love it here.

Old Town living at its best! I've rented at The Moderne for over a year and love it here. Everything is top notch and brand new. Management always goes above and beyond to take care of the residents. The amenities are excellent and the proximity to shopping, dining, nightlife, hiking (Camelback - Cholla Trail) is all within walking distance. Don't look anywhere else!
